Philip Thrower

Philip Thrower is an accomplished survey and geospatial professional with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as Survey Data Co-ordinator at Main Roads Western Australia since May 2021, Philip previously held roles as Geospatial Technician at Land Surveys, Laser Scanning Technician at Scopus Engineering Ltd., and 3D Laser Scanning Surveyor & Processor at Veris. In addition to technical roles, Philip managed a team of cartographers in a fast-paced surveying and mapping office. Prior experience includes CAD Manager and Survey Assistant/CAD Technician at Halcrow, and Survey Assistant at Clugston Construction, where foundational skills in land surveying were developed. Educational qualifications include a BTEC National Diploma in Surveying from Leeds College of Building and additional training from the Australian Institute of Management.
