Alejandra Romero

Alejandra Romero is an investment analyst with a strong background in venture capital and biotechnology. Currently serving as an associate at Main Sequence since August 2023, Alejandra contributes to identifying and supporting deep tech teams from Australia's research sector. Prior experience includes two years at Uniseed, where Alejandra focused on investments across various technology sectors. Alejandra also held roles at Inventia Genetic Technologies, where responsibilities included laboratory work and prior roles entailed sales and marketing coordination at CEROCOMACEROESTUDIO and American Express. Alejandra co-founded the NGO Caravana Solidaria, dedicated to assisting Syrian refugees, and has a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
