Martin Duursma

Martin Duursma is a Partner at Main Sequence Ventures, a venture capital fund focused on deep tech and public sector research in Australia since July 2017. Previously, Martin served as an Advisory Council Member at Macquarie University and held mentorship roles at the INCUBATE Startup Program and Global Access Partners. Martin has experience as a Board Trustee at the Computer History Museum and as a Business/Innovation Mentor at CSIRO's ON program. Prior to these roles, Martin was the VP of the Citrix Technology Office from 1997 to 2016 and contributed to technology commercialization as a BEC Committee Member at NICTA. Additionally, Martin founded Datapac Australasia Pty Ltd, which developed a multiuser business operating system, and began a career as a Software Engineer at Datamax Pty Ltd. Martin holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from the University of Sydney.
