Brent Mathews

Brent Mathews has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Brent began their career in the US Army as a Captain from 1995 to 1999. After that, they worked at Kimberly-Clark as an Asset Leader from 1999 to 2001. In 2003, they joined GE Commercial Finance, where they held positions as an Assistant Vice President and later participated in the Experienced Commercial Leadership Program until 2007. Brent then worked as an Associate at S.A.C. Capital Advisors LLC for a few months before joining CIT Group - Corporate Finance as a Vice President from 2007 to 2008. Brent then became the Managing Director at KCP Advisory Group from 2008 to 2009. From 2009 to 2010, Brent worked as the Vice President at Boston Financial Funding, focusing on providing asset-based lending to smaller companies. Brent then moved on to PNC Business Credit, where they worked as a Vice President originating senior secured credit facilities for middle-market companies from 2010 to 2017. Brent then joined BankProv as a Senior Vice President and Director - Sponsor Finance from 2017 to 2023. Currently, they are employed at Main Street Bank, where they serve as a Senior Vice President and Commercial Lender.

Brent Mathews has a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Virginia, which they obtained from 1990 to 1995. Brent also holds an MBA in General Management from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, which they earned from 2001 to 2003.
