John Hammack

John Hammack, CFP®️, has a vast work experience that spans several industries. John is currently serving as the Senior Vice President at Main Street Financial Solutions LLC since 2022. Previously, they worked as a Senior Portfolio Advisor at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management from 2011 to 2022. Before that, they were an Independent Financial Professional in the Greater New York Area from 2010 to 2011. Prior to their role as an Independent Financial Professional, they worked as a Futures Trader at JP Morgan from 2008 to 2010 and as a Futures Sales Trader at Bear Stearns from 2004 to 2008. Earlier in their career, John served as the Head Trader of the Managed Futures Desk at Citigroup, Inc from 1999 to 2004. John also gained experience as a Futures Trader at Refco, Inc from 1998 to 1999 and as a Forex Trader at Commodities Corporation from 1989 to 1995. John began their career as a Paratrooper in the United States Army from 1983 to 1985.

John Hammack, CFP®️, earned a BBA in Economics/Business Administration from Northwood University from 1986 to 1988. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Arts - AA degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the College of the Desert from 1979 to 1982. In addition, John Hammack holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification from the CFP Board.
