Nolan M. O'Brien

Nolan O'Brien is an experienced professional currently serving as the Executive Assistant to the President at Maine Coast Heritage Trust since February 2022, where responsibilities include facilitating communications between the President, Board Members, and partners. Prior experience includes roles as Regional Director and Senate Aide in the Office of Senator Edward J. Markey from June 2016 to November 2021, focusing on constituent communications and federal agency interactions in various policy areas. Nolan also served as a Student Trustee at the University of Massachusetts, representing student interests on the Board of Trustees from July 2013 to June 2016, and held a position as a Beacon Ambassador Tour Guide during the same period. Prior internships at the United States Senate, as well as lifeguarding and swim instruction roles, contribute to a diverse skill set complemented by a degree from UMass Boston.
