Peter Taylor

Peter Taylor is the Vice President of Program Development and Grantmaking Services at the Maine Community Foundation, where since April 2009, Peter has been part of the senior management team overseeing grantmaking and scholarship programs for a foundation with assets exceeding $420 million. Prior to this role, Peter served as Associate Dean of Students at Bates College from 1994 to 2002, managing new student programs, academic advising, and judicial affairs. Earlier experience includes working as a Legal Assistant at Howrey and Simon from 1988 to 1993, focusing on document production for pre-trial hearings. Peter holds a degree in Political Science and Government from Kenyon College, earned from 1984 to 1988.
