Regional Vice President at Maine Drilling & Blasting

Shane LaGray has extensive work experience in the drilling and blasting industry. Shane began their career in 2005 with Maine Drilling & Blasting, starting as a Drill Operator and later progressing to roles such as Field Engineer and Blaster Trainee. During this time, they gained expertise in blast design, pattern layout, and loading practices. Shane also trained in quarry and construction applications and worked on managing multiple drill rigs and large blast crews. In 2015, they became a Regional Superintendent, overseeing high-profile projects and ensuring safety and project schedules were maintained. In 2018, they were promoted to Division Manager and subsequently Regional Manager, responsible for overseeing operations at various locations. Currently, they serve as the Regional Vice President at Maine Drilling & Blasting.

Shane LaGray began their education in 1998 at the State University of New York College at Potsdam, where they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General. Shane successfully completed this program in 2002. The following year, in 2002, they attended Southern Oregon University for a brief period and studied Natural Sciences. Shane's educational journey also includes additional certifications, specifically in the areas of Executive Presence and Influence: Persuasive Leadership Development from Emeritus, which they obtained in August 2022, and Executive Presence and Leadership from Wharton Executive Education.
