Ellen Sabina possesses extensive experience in agricultural engagement and outreach, currently serving as the Director of Farmer Engagement & Organizing at Maine Farmland Trust since June 2013, after holding roles such as Outreach & Communications Director and Outreach & Membership Coordinator. As a Flower Farmer at Half Hitch Flowers since February 2018, Ellen combines practical farming with community-driven initiatives. Previous positions include Development Coordinator at Viva Farms Agricultural Incubator and Outreach Coordinator at Jefferson County LandWorks Collaborative. Ellen also founded the Port Townsend Food Bank Garden and contributed as an Editorial Blogger for both the National Young Farmers Coalition and Justmeans. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in History from Bates College and participation in programs at Cornell/UNH Shoals Marine Laboratory and Williams-Mystic Program.
