Karl Francis is an experienced educational leader currently serving as Principal at Greely High School within MSAD 51 since July 2022. Prior to this role, Karl was Principal at York High School from August 2016 to June 2022, overseeing a public school with 575 students in grades 9-12. As the founding Principal and Head of School at Maine Connections Academy from July 2014 to July 2016, Karl successfully led the startup of Maine's largest public charter school, growing enrollment to 390 students statewide. Earlier in their career, Karl held positions as School Counselor at Westbrook School Department and C.K.
