Noor Abduljaleel is a dedicated student and emerging professional in the health and medical sciences field, currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Biology at the University of Southern Maine. Noor is actively engaged in various roles, including a Molecular Biology Research Internship at MaineHealth Institute for Research and as a Hospital Volunteer at Maine Medical Center, providing support to children and their families. As a SHPEP Ambassador with the Association of American Medical Colleges, Noor promotes access to health professions education, while serving as Co-president of the Mealnin in Medicine Club, which focuses on supporting students of color. Additional experience includes a role as a Teaching Assistant in general chemistry, a Student Research Assistant studying insect metamorphosis, and a Pharmacy Technician at Hannaford Supermarkets. Past participation in the Summer Health Professions Education Program at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School further underscores Noor's commitment to enhancing resources and opportunities for underrepresented students in health professions.
