Brooks Betts

Brooks Betts has extensive work experience in the field of technology services and information management. Brooks started their career in 1994 as a Manager of Technical Support at The Printing House, Ltd. Brooks then worked at PC DOCS/Fulcrum, Inc. as a Manager of Applications/API Knowledge Center from 1997 to 1999. Brooks later joined Lightbridge as a Technical Support Manager, where they managed a support team for the Retail Management System (RMS), a wireless telecom point of sale solution used by major carriers. In 2001, they became the Manager of Customer Support Engineering at NaviSite, overseeing a team of UNIX and Windows System Administrators.

Brooks then transitioned to healthcare IT, starting as the CIO and Vice President of Information Services for Lincoln County Healthcare in 2003. In this role, they were responsible for technology and telecom operations across multiple locations. Brooks continued to progress within the healthcare industry, eventually becoming the CIO and Director of Information Services at Pen Bay Healthcare. In 2015, they joined MaineHealth as the Senior Director of Technology Services, leading various technology-related departments. Brooks'smost recent role at MaineHealth is as the LincolnHealth Senior Director of Operations, where they oversee core data center operations, network, telephony and video, end user computing, enterprise architecture, and database operations. Throughout their career, Brooks has demonstrated a strong passion for technology and a commitment to ensuring efficient IT operations in healthcare settings.
