Dr. Matthew Trombley

Dr. Matthew Trombley, Ph.D, MBA, FACHCA, FACHE has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Dr. Matthew is currently the Founder of Ascendare Group, where they focus on transforming leadership and team dynamics across various industries through executive coaching and enhancing team efficiency. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Finance at MaineHealth, the largest health system in northern New England. Dr. Matthew also held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Care Continuum Solutions, where they helped organizations adapt to their growing needs. Dr. Trombley has extensive experience in the healthcare sector, having served as the Senior Executive Director at Mount Joseph at Waterville and as the CEO/Senior Executive Director at Island Nursing Home. Dr. Matthew has also held leadership roles in other organizations such as Seaport Village Health Care and North Country Associates - Narraguagus Bay Health Care. Before transitioning to the healthcare industry, Dr. Trombley worked at Walmart, initially as an Assistant Store Manager and later as a Market Pharmacy Compliance Manager. Dr. Matthew holds a Ph.D, MBA, FACHCA, and FACHE.

Dr. Matthew Trombley, Ph.D, MBA, FACHCA, FACHE has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Liberty University. Dr. Matthew holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Healthcare Management from Southern New Hampshire University. Dr. Matthew also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Management from the University of Maine. Additionally, Dr. Trombley has obtained a Six Sigma - Lean Management Black Belt certification from Purdue University.
