Arni Birgisson

Arni Birgisson has a diverse work experience spanning over 18 years. Arni is currently serving as the Director of Cloud Services at Mainframe Industries since March 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS) from 2017 to 2021, where they held the positions of Sr. Game Tech Developer Advocate and Solutions Architect. Before joining AWS, Arni worked at Plain Vanilla Productions as an Infrastructure Engineer from 2014 to 2016. Arni started their career at Men & Mice in 2010 as a Professional Services Engineer, providing high-level support and training to customers. Prior to that, they worked as a Network Engineer at FATTOC LLC in 2009 and EJS hf from 2006 to 2009. Arni also gained experience working in the Network Operations team at Skyrr as a summer job in 2003.

Arni Birgisson attended Reykjavik University from 2008 to 2013, where they obtained a B.Sc in Computer Science. Prior to that, they studied at Verzlunarskóli Íslands from 1998 to 2002, but their degree and field of study are unknown. Additionally, Arni Birgisson has obtained several certifications from Amazon Web Services, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional in January 2018, AWS Certified Developer - Associate in December 2017, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate in February 2017.
