William Shepherd

William Shepherd, CRSP, currently serves as the Occupational Health Safety and Environment Manager at Mainland Machinery Ltd., where responsibilities include developing health and safety policies and fostering a proactive safety culture. Previously, as the Corporate Health and Safety Manager at Donald's Fine Foods, William developed policies across multiple facilities and enhanced the organizational safety culture. At the Manufacturing Safety Alliance of BC, roles included Manager of OHS Resources and Development and Machine Guarding Specialist, focusing on creating tools and training resources for the services team. William's earlier experience includes positions in safety advisement and hands-on mechanical roles, with educational credentials in Occupational Health and Safety from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and Millwright apprenticeship from Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
