Alexander Goron

Alexander Goron has a total of 14 years of work experience in the field of database administration and information architecture. Alexander started their career in 2006 as a Database Administrator at CareScience, where they worked until 2007. Alexander then joined Premier, Inc. as a Database Administrator and worked there for 6 years until 2013.

Since 2013, Alexander has been working at Mainline Information Systems as an Information Architect and Data Virtualization Specialist. In this role, they have been responsible for planning and deploying Hadoop clusters, securing Hadoop clusters with Kerberos authentication, integrating Hadoop environments with Netezza and Oracle databases, and utilizing tools like Sqoop and Fluid Query for data flow management. Alexander has also conducted training sessions for customers, performed performance assessments, developed solutions for capacity management and workload management, and provided recommendations for performance tuning and security improvements. Alexander has also designed and planned database migration processes and implemented replication processes for disaster recovery purposes. Additionally, they have designed security policies, integrated with Active Directory, and created solutions for storing query plan files.

Alexander Goron attended the Moscow State Academy of Business Administration from 1993 to 1997, where they earned a BA degree in Business Administration. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including the IBM Certification Exam Developer 2020 - Level I and the IBM Certified Administrator - Netezza Performance Server V11.x in July 2020. In October 2018, they completed the Scala Programming for Data Science certification offered by IBM. Furthermore, they achieved the IBM PureData System for Analytics Certified Specialist certification in March 2018. In July 2016, Alexander obtained the Cloudera Certified Administrator for Apache Hadoop (CCAH) certification. Prior to that, they attained the IBM InfoShere Guardium Technical Professional v2 certification in April 2015. In March 2014, they earned the IBM InfoSphere Streams Technical Professional certification, followed by the IBM InfoShere Guardium Technical Professional v1 certification in January 2014.
