Darby Tish

Darby Tish has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In 2008, they worked at Bird's Aphrodisiac Oyster Shack as a Bartender/Server, where they performed a variety of roles including hosting, bartending, serving, and security. From 2012 to 2016, they worked at Preferred Payroll/Brad Burns Insurance as a CSR, responsible for producing payrolls for over 300 businesses, handling client communication, and coordinating with auditors. During this time, they also served as a 215 Life and Health Agent/440 General Lines at Brad Burns Ins. In 2017, they joined Mainline Information Systems as a Payroll Administrator, managing the payroll process for over 400 employees and assisting with payroll finance reconciliation and audits. In 2021, they joined the Leon County Library Endowment Board at LeRoy Collins Leon County Public Library. Most recently, in 2022, they became a part of the 2022 Community Catalyst Class at Knight Creative Communities Institute.

Darby Tish has a strong educational background with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Strategic Communication from Flagler College-Tallahassee. This degree was obtained between 2016 and 2018. Prior to that, Darby completed an Associate's Degree in AIS (Assured Information Security) from Western Kentucky University, which took place from 1994 to 1996. Darby's high school education was completed at Lincoln High School and resulted in a High School diploma in General Studies from 1986 to 1991.

In addition to these education accomplishments, Darby also holds two additional certifications. In 2015, Darby obtained a Notary Public certification from the State of Florida. In 2014, another certification was obtained in 215 Life, including Variable Annuity and Health Insurance from the Florida Department of Financial Services.
