Mike Mawhinney

Mike Mawhinney has extensive experience in project management and systems engineering. Currently serving as a Project Manager at Mainroad Group since November 2004, Mike is responsible for the installation and maintenance of roadside toll equipment for the Port Mann Bridge and for the maintenance of traffic control systems for the George Massey Tunnel and other Ministry of Transportation electrical assets. Prior to this role, Mike worked as a Systems Engineer at Raytheon Systems Canada Ltd. from April 1996 to June 2004, focusing on significant air traffic control projects, including the Canadian Automated Air Traffic System (CAATS) and the Jakarta Automated Air Traffic System (JAATS). Mike holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of British Columbia, earned between 1985 and 1991.
