Robert K. Yu

Robert K. Yu is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in embedded software and digital signal processing. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Embedded Software Engineer at Mainspring Energy since December 2023, Robert previously held the role of Principal Engineer at Signal Essence, contributing to the development of a multi-microphone beamforming array. Earlier positions include Senior Applications Engineer at Agility Design Solutions, where Robert specialized in MATLAB-to-C compiler development, and Technical Lead at Northrop Grumman, overseeing systems for signal intelligence. Robert has also led teams at Voyan and PocketScience, focusing on DSL modem prototypes and acoustic coupler technology, respectively. Robert holds both an MEng and BS in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and has a foundational education from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
