Client Technology Manager at Mainstay Technologies

Dan Bixby is currently a Systems Administrator at Mainstay Technologies. Prior to that, they worked as a Help Desk Specialist at TEKsystems from December 2019 to September 2020. In that role, they provided technical support to DoD users and leave behind materials, created and issued user accounts via Active Directory, troubleshot and maintained DoD VOIP phone systems, and reimaged user computers and updated software for outdated equipment. Dan also provided Service Desk Support to approximately 2.1 million worldwide users using industry best practices and global service desk policy, either directly or indirectly based on application service level agreement requirements.

From September 2015 to December 2019, Dan served as Ranger Team Leader in the 75th Ranger Regiment of the U.S. Army. In that role, they led a team of Rangers in combat operations, trained Rangers in new tactics and techniques, and developed Ranger Standard Operating Procedures.

Dan Bixby has a Bachelor's degree in Network and System Administration/Administrator from Western Governors University. Dan also has an Associate's degree in General Studies from Columbia College. In addition, they are certified by CompTIA in CompTIA Security+, CompTIA A+, and CompTIA Network+.

Dan Bixby reports to Tony Romano, Manager of Systems Administration. Dan Bixby works with Cameron Fischer - Systems Administrator, Glenn Williams - Systems Administrator, and Trevor Sylvia - Systems Administrator.
