Zavisa Bjelogrlic has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Zavisa is currently working as an Advisor in media technology, cloud architectures, and transformation at Slowing Down Consulting, a position they have held since February 2023. Prior to this, they were the Head of Partnerships at MainStreaming, starting in February 2023.

Zavisa also has extensive experience at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where they held various roles in media and entertainment. Zavisa served as a Senior Specialist Solution Architect from March 2020 to January 2023, and before that, they were the Partner Solution Architect Lead for Media & Entertainment in the EMEA region from December 2017 to March 2020.

Before joining AWS, Zavisa worked at Accenture, where they held the position of Executive in Accenture Digital Video from June 2014 to November 2017. Prior to this, they were the Business Unit Technology Lead (CTO) from March 2011 to June 2014.

Earlier in their career, Zavisa worked as the CTO at Goom Radio from December 2008 to June 2010 and as the Head of Technology - Internet, Future Media & Technology at BBC from December 2007 to January 2009.

Zavisa also has experience as a CEO and co-founder at Asemantics from 2003 to December 2007 and as a Skipper and owner of Zubenelgenubi from January 2002 to December 2003.

Furthermore, Zavisa worked as the Founder and Managing Director at Web Bridges (Gruppo Editoriale l'Espresso) from July 1996 to October 2002.

Zavisa's early career includes a position as the Head of New Technologies at Intecs sistemi (Matra Marconi Space) from 1989 to 1996.

Throughout their career, Zavisa has gained expertise in media technology, cloud architectures, partnerships, solution architecture, digital video, and business development.

Zavisa Bjelogrlic has a strong education background in the field of Electrical Engineering. Zavisa obtained their Dipl. Ing. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ljubljana, where they studied from 1975 to 1980. Subsequently, they pursued further education and completed their M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Ljubljana from 1981 to 1985.

In addition to their formal education, Zavisa Bjelogrlic has also obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in April 2021.
