Alex Vari

Alex Vari, CPA, has extensive experience in accounting and finance, currently serving as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Accounting Officer at MainStreet Bank since September 2018. Prior to this role, Alex held progressive positions at Elliott Davis from October 2011 to September 2018, culminating as Audit Manager. Early career experience includes a role as Customer Service Representative at Gate City Bank from April 2009 to July 2011. Alex earned a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of North Dakota in 2011 and completed additional education at the Virginia Bankers School of Bank Management between 2019 and 2021, as well as a program at Duke University from May 2022 to September 2022.
