Russell Echlov

Russell Echlov brings vast industry experience and currently serves as a Partner and Founder of Ledyard Capital - an independent investment firm focused on opportunities at the intersection of the financial and technology sectors as well as other opportunities that arise from the rapidly evolving financial services landscape.

Mr. Echlov launched his career as an associate at Mendon Capital Advisors Corp in 1997. In 2001, Mr. Echlov left to gain experience with various investment strategies and worked with firms such as Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, FrontPoint Stadia, Columbia Financial Partners and Spring Hill Capital Partners, LLC.

In 2014, Mr. Echlov returned to Mendon Capital Advisors who teamed up with RMB Capital to manage a number of financial services-focused funds, including a global financials fund that he co-managed.

Mr. Echlov earned his Bachelor’s degree in Modified Economics and Geography from Dartmouth College.
