John Gormley

John Gormley has over 20 years of experience in the REALTOR associations industry. John started their career as the Director of Communications and Marketing for the Texas Association of REALTORS in 1998 and was promoted to Vice President in 2006, overseeing a division of 18 employees across three departments. In 2015, they became the Chief Executive Officer of the St. Louis Association of REALTORS, holding the position for two years before becoming the CEO of the Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS in 2017. Throughout their career, they have been responsible for various aspects of the industry, including education, meetings and events, print and online publishing, member benefits, brand management, and external communications.

John Gormley received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Louisiana State University in 1984. John later obtained their Master of Arts degree in Mass Communication from Texas State University in 2004. In addition to their academic achievements, John has earned several certifications, including the Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) from the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) in 2014, the Certified Association Executive (CAE) from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) in 2013, and the Realtor association Certified Executive (RCE) from NAR in 2010.
