Francis Blanchard

Francis Blanchard has worked in various roles in the IT industry since 2007. Francis began their career at Bureau en Gros as a Technicien en informatique. In 2012, they took on a Stage - Spécialiste de test de système role at Genetec, followed by an Internship - Junior System Administrator role at the same company in 2013. Later in 2013, they were a Stage - Responsable de la conformité at Hydro Quèbec. In 2014, they moved to Hydro-Québec as a Stage - Conseiller en sécurité des TIC. In 2016, they joined OKIOK as a Senior consultant – Technical Lead Incident Response. Currently, Francis works at MaintainX as the Director of Security and IT and Security Lead.

Francis Blanchard completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Computer Engineering from Universit\u00e9 de Sherbrooke between 2011 and 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Technique du G\u00e9nie \u00c9lectrique in the field of Sp\u00e9cialisation t\u00e9l\u00e9communication from Coll\u00e8ge Lionel-Groulx between 2008 and 2011. Francis has also obtained several certifications, including GIAC Advisory Board from GIAC Certifications in 2017, GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE) from GIAC Certifications in 2017, and GIAC Network Forensic Analyst (GNFA) from GIAC Certifications in 2020.
