John Cline

John Cline has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. John'smost recent role was as a Senior Sales Manager - Mid-Market at MaintainX, a mobile-first platform that streamlines workflows for industrial and front-line workers. Prior to that, they worked at Pendo.io as the Director of Commercial Sales, where they supported a growing team and trained new reps in building and winning opportunities for the "Pendo For Startups" segment.

Before joining Pendo.io, John held multiple roles at Citrix, a digital workspace platform. John started as a Principal Corporate Sales Representative and consistently surpassed sales quotas. John then progressed to become a Manager - Digital Sales, leading the US SMB Greenfield Accounts, EDU & Services team and the SB West team.

Earlier in their career, John worked at AT&T Mobility as an Assistant Store Manager and a Retail Sales Consultant, where they managed sales teams and built relationships with customers while selling a range of services. John also worked as a Bartender at The Raleigh Times Bar, a popular craft beer bar, and as an Independent contractor and sales representative at Sozo Distribution, where they marketed and sold Zeko Shoes.

Additionally, John has experience as a Columnist for Wagering-Sports.com and worked for a newspaper as an NC State Technician.

John Cline received their education in the field of English. John attended the University of South Carolina from 2005 to 2007, where they pursued a degree in English. Later, from 2008 to 2011, John Cline attended North Carolina State University, specializing in English with a focus on the field of English Language, Writing, and Rhetoric (ELWR). In September 2022, they obtained a certification in Pendo Essentials from Pendo.io.
