Paul Anderson-Trocmé, P.Eng.

Paul Anderson-Trocmé, P.Eng. has over 10 years of professional experience in the engineering field. Paul began their career in 2010 with a summer position at SNC-Lavalin's Transportation Division, where they performed site supervision on a highway infrastructure project in Montréal and worked with the project management team on tasks including resources management, scope definition, proposals evaluation, structural design analysis and stakeholder interactions. In 2011, they took a summer position at Read Jones Christoffersen Ltd. where they worked with the parking lot facility design team on infrastructure projects in the GTA and across Canada, executing the overall administration of several projects and participating in design work and interdisciplinary coordination meetings. In 2012, they began a graduate research assistant position at McGill University, where they managed a province-wide research project to evaluate High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lanes using video-based collection technologies, as well as assisted in the development of an open-source feature-based video tracking research software product. In 2014, they joined Accenture as a Technology Consulting Analyst, part of the Transit and Tolling Group, working on the Implementation of an Automated Fare Card system in one of North America's largest public transit systems. In 2015, they became a Transport Infrastructure Specialist at Fireseeds North Infrastructure, managing projects across Canada with clients from private and public sectors including transportation strategies, technical specifications and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) architecture strategies. Paul also led the product development of a machine-learning/computer vision software tool and executed pilot projects with partners and clients in multiple countries, as well as executed the technical requirements and administrative activities related to external grants and funding for the development of the software tool. In 2018, they joined Aon as a Risk Control Consultant. Currently, they hold two positions: Head Of Operations and Manager, Data Strategy and Operations at MaintainX, and Project Officer - Operations and Strategy (Volunteer Position) at UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network – Youth.

Paul Anderson-Trocmé, P.Eng. holds a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Civil Engineering: Transportation from McGill University and a Bachelor in Civil Engineering from McGill University. Paul obtained their Engineer certification from the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec in November 2017, and their Cours santé et sécurité générale sur les chantiers de construction certification from ASP in March 2010.
