Kaj Nyström

Kaj Nyström has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Kaj is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at MaintMaster Systems since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Cambio Group from 2016 to 2022, holding various roles such as Agile Coach, Tribe Manager, and Development Manager. At Combitech from 2013 to 2016, they served as a Consultant and later became the Result Unit Manager, responsible for the development, testing, and support of Uptime and Rodon products. From 2008 to 2013, they worked at Sörman Information as a Development Manager, overseeing all development, support, and testing activities. Before that, they served as a System Architect at Sörman Information from 2006 to 2008. Their responsibilities included working on the Rodon product and later managing the UpTime Core team and development. Kaj also pursued Ph.D. studies at Linköpings universitet from 2003 to 2006, focusing on the development of a higher-level modeling language for the GRID environment. Kaj started their career as a Software Developer/Consultant at MathCore Engineering AB, where they contributed to the development of OpenModelica and handled system administration and external consulting on various software development projects.

Kaj Nyström attended Linköping University from 1997 to 2003, although the specific degree program and field of study undertaken during this time are not provided.
