Pierluigi Oresti

Pierluigi Oresti has had a diverse range of work experiences throughout their career. Pierluigi started in 1991 as a Senior Process Engineer and Project Engineering Manager at Saipem - Snamprogetti SpA, where they worked on oil and gas as well as LNG regasification projects. Pierluigi then moved to Zurich Insurance Company Ltd in 1999 as a Risk Manager before joining GE Oil & Gas - Nuovo Pignone SpA in 2000 as the Head of Technical Proposal & Feasibility Study Department for Industrial Plants. From 2003 to 2008, they worked at Saipem SpA, first as a Senior Engineering Project Manager for FPSO and FSRU projects, and later as a Purchasing Manager. From 2008 to 2012, they served as the Operations Director and Commercial Director at ITP Benelli SpA. In 2013, Pierluigi joined Tecnimont as the Procurement Director for Oil & Gas and Power Projects, and they continued in a similar role at Maire Tecnimont starting in 2018. In 2023, they became the Group Procurement Director for the Middle East Region at MAIRE.

Pierluigi Oresti has a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna. Pierluigi also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. In addition, they have completed a Six Sigma Green Belt program at General Electric Corporate University.
