Joris Cheyrou

Joris CHEYROU currently serves as the Directeur général adjoint at Ville de Talence since April 2021, overseeing the "Ville Dynamique et Attractive" department, which includes culture, sports, youth, economic development, sustainable development, and student life. With extensive experience at Mairie de Talence since March 2007 as the Directeur des services Jeunesse Sports et Vie Étudiante, Joris CHEYROU manages a team of 100 individuals and a budget of 5 million euros, focusing on strategic development of sports policy and project management for sports facility renovations. Additionally, Joris CHEYROU has organized international sporting events and maintains relationships with institutional and sporting networks at various governmental levels. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Sports Management from Grenoble Ecole de Management and a Maîtrise in Sports Management from Université Victor Segalen Bordeaux 2. Joris CHEYROU also holds a position on the Board of Directors of ANDIIS Nouvelle Aquitaine and at the national level.
