Maisha Meds has created the first and largest network of private pharmacies and clinics in East Africa through a mobile app that delivers subsidized care. Not only does the app now help over 2,000 businesses operate by making sales, managing inventory, and tracking patients; it also reimburses them for providing affordable care to patients for malaria, birth control, and HIV prevention. By harnessing the power of a vast but fragmented private sector, our program improves access for patients, supports pharmacies that often serve as a first point of contact, and generates vital research and data on global health and market trends.
