Starting in 2010, Abby worked as a Creative Coordinator/Production Assistant at mOcean, where they coordinated the creative efforts for the production and delivery of marketing materials for film and television. Within two months, they were promoted to the role of Creative Coordinator.
In 2011, Abby joined Creative Artists Agency as a Marketing Assistant in Motion Picture Marketing. Their responsibilities included managing public relations and event logistics for Agency Award Screenings, organizing and managing large-scale events, and acting as a contact and host for VIP guests and high-profile clientele.
From 2012 to 2013, Abby worked as a Writer at mOcean, where they developed compelling copy for branding purposes across various platforms including film, television, and lifestyle. Abby also edited the work of herself and colleagues under tight deadlines.
In 2014, Abby briefly worked at The Doneger Group as an Assistant Editor in the Tobe Report Division. Their role involved conceptualizing and developing consumer-centric trend and brand content targeted to specific markets, conducting research, and editing content for brand presentations.
From 2013 to 2020, Abby worked as a Senior Copywriter for various freelance projects, including brands like Naadam, Zachary Prell, and PAIGE. Abby developed progressive and impactful copy for digital and traditional marketing, specialized in long and short-form writing, and created brand-driven messaging for different purposes.
In 2015, Abby became a Senior Brand Strategist for Consultant, where they transformed complex brand identities and goals into clear and compelling messaging. Abby strategically engaged brand tenets, conducted in-depth research on target customers, and ensured brand differentiation and better reach to the target audience.
Lastly, since 2017, Abby has been working at Maison MRKT. Initially, they started as a Brand + Creative Strategist, where they led creative strategy and messaging for a portfolio of brands. Abby worked with client teams and account managers, advised on client-specific choices, and offered growth opportunities. Currently, Abby holds the position of Creative Director at Maison MRKT.

Abby Weiss began their education in 2006 at the University of Colorado Boulder, where they completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film Studies. During their time there, they were also honored as a Chancellors Leadership Scholar and became a member of the Phi Beta Kappa society. In 2009, Abby briefly studied Social Movements and Human Rights at the University of Buenos Aires. Subsequently, in 2013, Abby pursued an Associate Masters degree in Fashion Marketing at the Parsons School of Design - The New School, which they completed in 2014.
