Axel Schmied

Axel Schmied is the COO and a member of the Executive Board at MAIT for business, where they focus on delivering digital solutions that foster long-term business success and drive digitalization for over 900 employees. With a career spanning more than 20 years, Axel started as an engineer and has held various roles in project management, development, presales, and sales across Europe. Prior to their current position, they served as Managing Director at MAIT and held several key operational roles at Sage. Axel continues to leverage their extensive experience to enhance efficiency and profitability for clients while finding balance in outdoor activities like biking and skiing in the Black Forest.
