Marco Stief is an Equity Partner and Head of Legal at Maiwald Patentanwalts GmbH, with expertise in intellectual property law, focusing on industrial property rights and contractual matters with an IP/IT background. Marco also serves as a Lecturer at Philipps-Universität Marburg for international contract law and pharmaceutical law, and at TU Dresden for IP law and patent law. Prior to this, Marco held roles at Fresenius SE & Co. KAaA, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Clifford Chance LLP, and Baker & McKenzie. Marco holds a LL.M. from the University of Chicago Law School and a Ph.D. in patent law from the University of Basel.
