Matt Morford

Matt Morford has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Matt currently serves as the Director of Finance at Maize USD 266 since July 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Newton Public Schools/USD 373 for seven years as the Director of Business Services. In this role, they supervised the management of financial affairs, handled budget development, and supervised accounting and payroll operations. Before joining Newton Public Schools, Matt worked for the State of Kansas as a State Auditor 2 for four years. Matt'sresponsibilities included examining attendance and financial records of school districts to ensure compliance with state statutes. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Loan Officer at Residential Mortgage Company and as a Customer Service Manager at Dillon's.
