Dr. Hamoud Almahmoud

Dr. Hamoud Almahmoud serves as the Director and Chief Content Officer at Majarra since January 2006 and has held the position of Group Editor in Chief. Concurrently, Dr. Almahmoud has been the Editor in Chief of Fortune Arabia since January 2021 and previously served in the same role at Harvard Business Review Arabia from January 2016 to January 2021 and at aliqtisadi.com from January 2008 to October 2020. Dr. Almahmoud also contributed as an Editor and Trainer at Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism from January 2008 to December 2016, supporting the development of Arab journalists. Academic credentials include a forthcoming PhD in Social & Legal Sciences with a focus on Constructive Journalism from Universidad de Córdoba, a Master's in Media & Communications from Damascus University, a Diploma in Management from The Higher Institution of Development & Management, and a Bachelor's in Media from the Media College of Damascus University, along with a fellowship at Northwestern University in Business & Media.
