Buck Jurken

CFO at Majic Productions

Buck Jurken is the current Chief Financial Officer at Majic Productions, a position they have held since 2016. Prior to their current role, Jurken served as a Board Member for the Humane Animal Welfare Society (HAWS) of Waukesha from May 2016 to January 2021. In this role, they helped the organization care for 8,000 animals each year and welcomed over 35,000 human visitors.

Jurken began their career in 2010 as an Account Executive - Digital Media for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Buck then interned for Senator Mary Lazich in 2009 before taking on their current role at Majic Productions.

Buck Jurken is a dedicated animal welfare advocate and has been instrumental in helping HAWS of Waukesha care for thousands of animals each year. Buck is also a strong supporter of cooperative humane efforts throughout the state of Wisconsin and works tirelessly to promote the humane treatment of all animals.

Buck Jurken attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. Buck also earned a J.B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication-Strategic Communication from the school. Prior to attending UW-Madison, Buck Jurken graduated from Barrington High School.

They work with Justin Berres - Technical Director, Monica Jurken - VP, and Mike Lipinski - Production Manager. Buck Jurken reports to Michael Jurken, President.
