Babak Hashemi

Babak Hashemi is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategy, transformation, and management across various industries. Currently serving as SVP Strategy and Transformation, Country Manager, and VP Omni-Channel and Health & Beauty at Majid Al Futtaim since September 2018, Babak has previously held the position of Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company from September 2015 to September 2018. Additionally, Babak founded and managed Snapp! in 2014 and worked as a Project Manager at FACE Groups, where responsibilities included team leadership, project design, and tender preparations. Early career experience includes a role as a Technical Specialist, focusing on technical design and simulation for projects in the gas processing sector. Babak holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham, complemented by studies at Université Paris-Sorbonne and Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic.
