Professional Rugby Referee at Major League Rugby

Marquise Goodwin is an experienced educator and rugby professional with a strong background in teaching and coaching. Currently serving as a Special Education Teacher at Blue Ridge Academy since October 2020, Marquise has also been a Professional Rugby Referee for Major League Rugby since January 2019 and a referee for USA Rugby since October 2011. Marquise's coaching experience includes being the Head Coach for Women's Rugby at UC Santa Barbara from October 2012 to August 2014 and a role as a teacher and Rugby Coach at Frederick Douglass Academy Elementary from August 2011 to August 2012. Marquise holds a Teaching Credential in Single Subjects-Social Science from California State University, Long Beach, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Education from UC Santa Barbara.
