Margot Jackson

Margot Jackson is a Managing Director in the In-House Counsel Recruiting group, based out of the Orange County office. She specializes in working with client companies to build, grow and restructure their legal departments through the acquisition of top legal talent and the implementation of strategic initiatives designed to increase efficiency and reduce overall legal spend.

She has placed attorneys at all levels within corporate legal departments nationwide. When partnering with clients, Margot aims to identify opportunities where they can assist the clients in satisfying their business needs that exist within or beyond an organization's legal department.

Margot is a passionate advocate for increasing diversity within the legal profession. As such, she is a member of the In-House Diversity & Inclusion Committee, a group of talented recruiters dedicated to attracting, developing and retaining diverse talent for the clients and the own organization.

Margot began her legal career at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher in Los Angeles, where she was a real estate attorney for several years. She also has extensive experience working as a search consultant for a national executive search firm, providing strategic counsel to associate-level candidates regarding career development and guiding them to achieve long-term career goals. She has worked with attorneys in a wide range of practice areas, from real estate, privacy, corporate and litigation to intellectual property law.
