Remco Abeln

Remco Abeln is a Managing Director in the Amsterdam office specialising in the recruitment of experienced legal counsel, general counsel, attorneys, privacy officers, contracts managers and compliance professionals for both interim and permanent roles in in-house legal departments and law firms.

In 1996, Remco began his career as a recruiter, identifying candidates for a variety of positions and companies across multiple industries. Since 2001, however, his focus has solely been on the recruitment of legal counsel. Together with his longstanding business partner Nick Spenkelink, he set up and successfully grew two legal interim and search firms before joining Major, Lindsey & Africa in 2018.
