Amr Shawqy

Amr Shawqy is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technology and product management. Currently serving as the Chief Product and Marketing Officer at MakanE since March 2023, Amr focuses on product strategy and user experience. As a Technology Mentor at FasterCapital and former CEO & Cofounder at ExpandCart, the largest e-commerce platform in the Middle East, Amr has significantly contributed to advancing cloud-based software solutions. Previous roles include Software Development Manager and Senior Software Engineer at RMGS, Offshore Development Lead at Upland Software, Chief Technology Officer at QIT Egypt, and Senior Software Engineer at Horizon Software House. Amr holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Communications from Cairo University.
