HPB Surgery, Section Chief, Department Of Surgery at Makati Medical Center

Catherine Teh currently serves as Medical Director at the Global Care Cancer Institute, the first standalone outpatient cancer care facility in the Philippines, since January 2022. Concurrently, Catherine holds the position of Director for the Philippine College of Surgeons Cancer Commission Surgical Quality Improvement Program and Secretary of the ISFGS AP Chapter. Catherine has been President of ASEAN LHC since September 2020 and has served as Section Chief for HPB Surgery and Director of the Liver Care Center at Makati Medical Center since September 2008. Additionally, Catherine is a consultant in HPB and liver transplant surgery at St. Luke's Medical Center since 2005, and has held various leadership roles in professional organizations, including President of the Philippine Association of HPB Surgeons. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Patient Safety & Clinical Human Factors from the University of Edinburgh and an MD from the University of Santo Tomas, among other credentials.
