Nicola Deane-O’Keeffe is the Chief Financial Officer at Make-A-Wish Ireland, bringing a wealth of experience from previous roles such as Head of Finance and Interim CEO at Léargas, Director of Finance at World Meeting of Families 2018, and Chief Financial Officer at GOAL Global. With a background in finance and accounting, Nicola also served as a Finance Manager at Standard Life and Bain & Company. She holds a Diploma in Strategy and Innovation from the Irish Management Institute and an ACCA in Accountancy from Dublin Business School. Additionally, she completed a program in Transformational Leadership at the University of Cambridge.

Make-A-Wish Ireland
Make-A-Wish® Ireland has one simple aim - to grant the wishes of children living with life-threatening illnesses, such as leukaemia, brain tumours, cystic fibrosis, cancer, Duchenne muscular dystrophy and many others. A wish granted is true magic for the child providing respite from their normal routines of hospitals, doctors and treatment. Since its inception in 1992, Make-A-Wish in Ireland has granted wishes for over 2,600 special children, helping them realise their greatest wish and experience the hope, strength and joy each wish provides. In doing so it provides long-lasting and happy memories for the whole family, whatever the future may hold. A well-respected and popular children’s charity, Make-A-Wish is fully committed to providing the maximum level of care and enjoyment for children and their families.
