Alex Dale is an experienced professional in the games industry and marketing, currently serving as Senior Games Industry Advisor with Make-A-Wish® UK since February 2023. Alex holds leadership positions as Chairman of the Board at Whossa! and Tribes Studio, and has been a Non-Executive Director at several companies including Sandsoft Games and Snowprint Studios AB, where notable achievements include the successful sale of Snowprint Studios to MTG AB. Previously, Alex was CEO of Mrs Wordsmith, significantly reducing losses, and held senior roles at King, overseeing multiple studios and campaigns for major games. Alex's early career includes positions at Microsoft, contributing to marketing strategies in the consumer products division. Academic qualifications include an MBA from Imperial College Business School and a First in Modern History from Oxford University.
