Cheryl Heinonen

Cheryl Heinonen is currently the Chief People & Communications Officer at Loyal since March 2024 and serves as a volunteer for POUND PUPPY RESCUE since June 2023. Additionally, Cheryl has been a Director on the Board of Directors for Make-A-Wish America since January 2019. Previously, Cheryl was a Partner at Brunswick Group from December 2021 to January 2024 and held the position of EVP Corporate Communications at Macy's from January 2017 to January 2021. Cheryl served as Chief Communications Officer at Avon from August 2012 to January 2017, where responsibilities included being the senior vice president of global corporate relations and president of the Avon Foundation for Women. Earlier experience includes working at Burson-Marsteller as Market Leader & Managing Director of Corporate Practice from April 2010 to August 2012, serving as Principal in Communications Consulting from June 2009 to April 2010, and holding multiple roles at Visa from 1997 to 2008 that encompassed global stakeholder communications and corporate relations. Cheryl holds a B.A. in Political Science from Bryn Mawr College.
