Scott Frier

Scott Frier has extensive work experience in various companies. Scott started their career at SallieMae in 1989 as a Supervisor in Loan Originations and worked there until 1996. Scott then joined Honeywell Aerospace in 1998 as a Data Management Lead and stayed there until 2004. After that, they worked at American Express in different roles such as Sr. Manager, Finance Manager, Director of Credit Operations, and Strategic Planning Director, Assistant to SVP Global Credit Operations. Scott joined Make-A-Wish America in 2016 and held positions such as Director of Strategic Planning, Sr. Director of Strategic Business Transformation & Operations, and currently holds the role of Sr. Director of Strategy & Diversity.

Scott Frier's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Philosophy & Political Science, which they obtained from The University of Kansas between 1987 and 1992. Scott later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Global Management from the University of Phoenix from 2002 to 2004. In addition to their academic qualifications, Scott Frier has obtained several certifications, including the Certified Nonprofit Professional (CNP) certification from the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance in August 2020. Scott also completed the Workforce Trends and Leadership e-Certificate program from the same institution in June 2020. Other certifications they hold include the Six Sigma Black Belt certification from American Express in December 2006, the Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from American Express in December 2005, and the Design for Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Honeywell in December 2002. Furthermore, they obtained an Associates Certification in Project Management from The George Washington University in June 2003, and completed the Performance Measurement for Effective Management of Nonprofit Organizations program from Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education in May 2017.
