Ella Avila

Ella Avila has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Ella started their career at OMERS in 2010 as a Business Analyst, specializing in IT vendor management, change management, and security. During their time there, they worked closely with external vendors and OMERS employees to ensure the timely completion of projects and change tickets.

In 2013, Ella joined Aritzia as a Workforce Planner, where they were responsible for creating and managing schedules for Aritzia stores to align with business goals. Ella collaborated with store and district managers to accommodate changes to the schedule as needed.

After their role at Aritzia, Ella worked at RSA as a Consultant from 2014 to 2015. Here, they utilized their skills in consulting to provide valuable insights and recommendations to clients.

In 2015, Ella joined Unity Charity as a Finance Administration Coordinator, and later became a Finance Operations Manager in 2019. During their time at Unity Charity, they played a critical role in managing financial operations and coordinating administrative tasks.

In 2017, Ella founded HER Creative TO and became the Director of the organization. As the founder, they took on a leadership role and was responsible for overseeing the creative direction and strategic planning of the company.

Most recently, Ella joined Fable in 2021 as a Finance Operations Manager. In this role, they are responsible for managing finance operations and contributing to the financial success of the company.

Ella Avila earned their Bachelor of Commerce degree with a specialization in Information Technology from Ryerson University. Ella attended the university from 2009 to 2013.
