Diederik Koenders

Diederik Koenders has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Diederik started their career at Hilton Amsterdam as a Yield Manager and later became a Groups & Events Manager. In 2007, they joined UPR as a Client Director, where they worked for eight years. In 2015, they joined MAC Cosmetics as the Director Global Communications EMEA and held this position until 2018. From 2018 onwards, they assumed the role of VP Consumer Engagement, Communications, and VIVA GLAM at MAC Cosmetics.

Diederik Koenders completed a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Hospitality Administration/Management from Hotelschool The Hague in the years 1997-2001. In 2021, they pursued Sustainability Studies at the University of Cambridge. In addition to their formal education, they obtained various certifications from LinkedIn in subjects such as sustainability strategies, sales, leadership resilience, diversity and inclusion programs, anxiety management, writing skills, bias confrontation, brand reputation management, and marketing.
