Natalia Poteryakhin

Natalia Poteryakhin is a skilled Story Artist currently working at MAKE since August 2022, focusing on writing, storyboarding, and 2D animation for original animated shorts. As President of Nice Moves MN since March 2021, Natalia fosters a community for animators, motion designers, and visual effects artists in Minnesota through various events and initiatives. Previously, Natalia served as an Editorial Cartoonist for the Minnesota Daily from September 2020 to September 2022, creating weekly comic strips. Past experience includes roles as a Story Artist at MAKE, Animation Intern at Warner Bros Animation during the production of the Animaniacs reboot, and a Dean's Freshman Research Assistant at the Regis Center for Art. Natalia earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Animation and Film from the University of Minnesota and attended the California Institute of the Arts for animation studies.
